Beijing Bound - Scitech Rio Tinto Science Competition BYSCC 2011

The Science adventure of a lifetime! With the support of sponsors Scitech and Rio Tinto, two students and their mentors venture over to Beijing, China, to participate in the 2011 BYSCC. The students display their chosen Science Experiment at the Science Fair and are able to communicate with people from all over the world. Old Summer Palace in Beijing

The Pilbara delegation arrived at the Beijing Airport at 7am on 22 March 2011 on a cold morning with very little sleep after travelling in between stops for close to 24 hours.We were met by our Beijing Guide, John, a university student studying English and then checked into the BYSCC Hotel for a rest. John then took us exploring at the Old Summer Palace.
